David Jurney Obituary, Oklahoma Christian University Filmmaker And Instructor Has Died
David Jurney Obituary, Death – David Jurney is a filmmaker and instructor who has approximately 30 years of experience working in the business side of the media production industry. Oklahoma City is a city that may be found in the state of Oklahoma, in the United States. David Jurney was a much-loved Professor, Producer, Mentor, and Friend, and we are devastated to have to break the news to you that he has passed away. Our hearts are filled with immense grief as we do so. We are going to miss him very much.
David Jurney received his doctorate in communication from Oklahoma Christian University in 1994. While at OCU, he was also the director of Eagle Media and a professor in the department of communication at the university. David Jurney was recognized at the Austin Revolution Film Festival in 2022 with the Film Educator of the Year Award for his contributions in the film industry. This award was presented to David Jurney.
It has been decided not to telecast the episode of Eagle Angle that was set to run tomorrow evening. What I’m experiencing right now is so much more than just “heartbroken,” which doesn’t even come close to capturing it. David Jurney was the person who inspired me the most, encouraged me the most, and pushed me in ways that I never would have thought were possible. He was my number one fan. He brought out the absolute best in me and helped me realize my full potential, both of which contributed to my development into the person I am today.
All of his classes, as well as the basketball games, the Eagle Media, and other extracurricular activities, will always be among the highlights of my time at OC. The late hours spent staying up and the excessive amounts of Dr. Pepper that were drunk. People and communities all around the world will miss Dave profoundly because he possessed the widest and most radiant spirit imaginable, and he will be greatly missed.
He was a ray of sunshine in this dark world, and I will be always grateful to him for the wisdom that he bestowed upon me regarding life and the media throughout my time with him. I want to express my appreciation to you, Dave, for everything you’ve done for me over the years. Maintain your stoic composure and take it easy.
