Phil Brown Obituary, Death – Philip F. Brown, age 54, of Lansingburgh, New York, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, after a brief struggle with illness. is the son of Mary Jo Brady Brown, who passed away, and the late Bruce B. Brown, and was born in Albany, New York. Raised in Schenectady and Clifton Park, Philip attended Shenendehowa High School and then continued his education at Hudson Valley Community College. Philip, who worked at the Warren Washington Albany ARC in Queensbury as a Client Care Provider, was a devoted and hardworking individual. He had a large movie collection that he shared with his children and was passionate about automobiles, so he frequently went to auto shows, worked on his own vehicle, and watched movies. He will be remembered for the tie-dyed shirts, cowboy boots, and ten-gallon hats he wore, as well as the fact that he took good care of his car. Philip was a member of the St. Augustine Church in Lansingburgh and regularly attended services there.

In addition to being survived by his mother Mary Jo, he is the devoted father and friend of his two dear children; Sierra Pearl Brown and Avery Bruce Brown and their mother Erica Barna Brown, loving brother of Mary Kate Hoyt Bertone (Andrew), Eric Brown and Terry Hoyt, son-in-law of Pamela Benoit Barna, also survived by his brother-in-law, sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews.On Monday, August 29, 2022, Calling Hours will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and his Funeral Service will be held that evening at 6:00 p.m. Both events will take place at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., located at 565 Fourth Ave (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) in Troy, New York 12182. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
