John Overton Death, Obituary – John Overton, we pray that you are able to find the peace that you have been looking for in paradise. After passing away a week ago, John was placed to rest in Forest Lawn Cemetery, where his burial was held today. This is the same location where John was laid to rest after his passing.
On the 30th of May in 1966, when John was 24 years old, he signed up to become a member of the Rotary Club in Campbelltown. When you asked him about it, he said that it was his first time becoming a member of the club. John was an active member who held the positions of President in 1976–1977 and 2022-03, Vice President in 1975–1976, 1990–1991, 1999–2000, and 2004–2005.
He also served as President from 2022-03. Additionally, John held the position of Vice President from 1975–1976 and again from 2004–2005. Secretary of State from 1970 through 1973, as well as again from 1977 until 1979. Club Service [Club] 2001-02.
1973–1974, 1989–1990, and 1992–1993: years spent serving in the Armed Forces while attending to the requirements of the international community between the years 1991 and 1992. Participation spanning the time periods of 1999–2000, 2007–2008, and 2010–2015.
