Cory Etchberger Obituary, Active Member Of The Enlisted Heritage Research Institute Has Died

Cory Etchberger Obituary, Death – The death of CMSgt Etchberger’s youngest son, Cory, was a tragic event for the Etchberger family. Cory was the youngest of the Etchberger children. Cory was a strong supporter of education, the Air Force, and people who had been awarded the Medal of Honor. Throughout the years, he collaborated closely with the Air Force Enlisted Heritage Hall on a number of projects. These included the display of his father’s Medal of Honor.

The commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the events that took place at Lima Site 85, the sponsorship of Airmen to attend the Medal of Honor Character Development program at the Freedom Foundation, the production of the Medal of Honor series on Netflix, and the sponsorship of Airmen who required a little bit of extra love during the holiday season. The members of the EHRI team all wore shirts bearing the Etchberger name today as a mark of respect for the bereaved family as well as a way to honor this remarkable benefactor of the USAF enlisted history and heritage.

He was a teacher who had a genuine passion for people, and he will be sorely missed. In lieu of sending flowers, the Etchberger family asks that you consider making a donation to the Air Force Enlisted Village in their memory. Thank you for your consideration.
