Matthew Nelson Obituary, Death – The death of Matthew Nelson occurred, Cindy Nelson had a devoted husband in Matt, who was also her best friend throughout their entire lives. Being a loving father to Jacob, Jonah, Sophia, and Stella Nelson brought Matt a never-ending source of happiness throughout his life.

On May 3, 1965, Matt Nelson joined his parents, Raymond and Marilyn Nelson, in the world in Rockford, Illinois. It’s been three years since he and Cindy made the move to Montgomery, Ohio, when Matt took a position as Vice President of Safran Landing Systems in Walton, Kentucky. Matt flourished in this position, which garnered him respect as a leader and a guide for others.

The encouragement and betterment of others was always Matt’s primary objective in life. He derived a tremendous deal of satisfaction from witnessing the development and success of others, both in their professional and personal lives. Matt found great joy in spending time with both his family and his friends.

He had a lifelong passion for football and the Minnesota Vikings, which he considered to be his favorite team. He also enjoyed fishing and listening to the music of all types. Matt had a personality that was larger than life, and with a glint in his eye, he could make anyone laugh no matter what they were going through. Everyone who knew and loved Matt will miss him deeply and cherish his memory forever.
