Craig Cox Obituary, Founder Of The Grove RFC Has Died

Craig Cox Obituary, Death – The tragic news that one of our own has passed away has brought the entire Grove RFC community into a state of profound grief. Craig Cox, a club player, the coach of the U13 squad, and the father of Thomas Cox, went away this week while he was sleeping peacefully in his sleep. Craig was a loyal and committed father and husband, a combat veteran who served his country throughout the Iraq war, and a loyal and passionate rugby player and coach.

In addition, he was a veteran who served his nation in the armed forces. Even though he played for Grove at every level throughout the course of the past decade, he is most notable for his unwavering commitment to coaching younger players in the sport of rugby. His playing performances were always spectacular, but what makes him truly remarkable is his unwavering dedication. Since the beginning of this decade, we have been offering training sessions on Sunday mornings and weeknights here at our facility.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his son Thomas, who plays for the club’s U13 squad, his best friend Armz, and the rest of his extended family during this terribly terrible time. Thomas is a member of the club’s youth program. They are comforted by the knowledge that Craig was much liked and respected by many people, as well as by the fact that so many of you have offered to help during these terrible times.
