Rob Govier Obituary, Canadian Mental Health Member Has Passed Away

Rob Govier Obituary, Death – On January 31, Rob Govier passed away while surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home. The funeral for him took place the day after he passed away. He died without ever having to endure any discomfort or agony. Rob started his career in the home improvement industry thirty years ago at Beaver Lumber, and then moved on to Home Hardware a few years later. Rob has been employed in this sector continuously since that time.

He was a hard worker who brought a cheerful attitude to the job and made the days of the customers and clients altogether better. He was dedicated to his work. Rob was well liked by everyone he worked with, including the customers he served as well as the independent contractors he collaborated with. Even after he officially retired in 2018, he continued to visit the shop, which was a positive factor that contributed to the overall impression received. We are keeping his wife Marie and his two girls in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.

Our hearts go out to you on the passing of your loved one. Simply put, we are unable to accept the reality that he is no longer here with us. We just can’t do it. On the afternoon of Friday, February 10, from one to four o’clock in the afternoon, a “Come and Go” Celebration of Life for Rob, better known as SuperGov, will be held at the Owen Sound legion. The event will take place in the afternoon. In lieu of sending flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be sent to the Canadian Mental Health Association in memory of the individual who has passed away (CMHA).
