His many cousins, nieces, nephews, granduncles, grandaunts, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, together with his grandparents Gloria Hunter and Dorothy Alpine (Birdstone), will carry on his memory in their thoughts and hearts. Allan Hunter and Janice Alpine, Brandon’s parents, gave birth to him in Cranbro.
Prior to him, his uncle Albert Alpine Jr., his grandparents Roy Hunter and Albert Alpine, his great-grandparents Aloysius Birdstone and Lucy Birdstone (Stanley), Ben Walkley and Angeline Morigeau (Whitehead), Gabe Alpine and Lucy Alpine (White), and his great-great-grandparents Moses Birdstone and Agnes Birdstone (Luke), Joe Morigeau, as well as his uncle Gabe Alpine and Lucy Alpine (White), all predeceased him. He attended Laurie Junior High School prior to finishing his schooling at Aqamnik Elementary School, Steeples Elementary School, and Windermere Elementary School.
He had to finish formal training and obtain certification before he could work on the oil rigs in Fort McMurray. After that, he made the decision to pursue a career in construction, and over time, he developed into a conscientious and accomplished third-year carpenter who worked with the CMAW on a variety of projects.
Due to the nature of his employment, he frequently traveled around British Columbia. He was able to spend some time in Golden, where he preferred to dwell, thanks to his most recent job, but not for very long. Despite everything, he was pleased with the work he accomplished.
The family is hosting the funeral ceremonies at the Dan Joe Memorial Centre, which is situated in the maqam Community at 7470 Mission Rd. On February 9th, 2023, the Ktunaxa will host a wake starting at 5:00 pm and a rosary at 6:00 pm. On Friday, February 10, 2023, at 11:00 am, the funeral service will get underway.
