Bill Bowen Death, Obituary – On February 8, 2023, Mr. Bill Bowen, 53, of Rockwood, died away. On May 22, 1969, he was created in Rockwood. Bill loved his children and family more than anything else.

While his mother and father were on their way, we stayed in the emergency department. Bill’s survival was nothing short of a miracle. Bill had been split in half. Lower body paralysis is still present. These photos demonstrate that this person fully recovered. We are a bunch of hunters that share the same age and live in a small rural community.

Thanks to the efforts of all of us, Bill was able to return to the woods and the lake while he was recuperating.
Bill remained steadfast in his resolve to overcome every obstacle and keep up his sportsmanship. The most important trait of all was his unwavering dedication to our great Lord and Savior. Along with several other guys, Bill was dragged up to duck blinds and chunked to and from the boat. But he offered a helping hand as always.
Bill had to offer the most assistance he could. We carried him up and down these Tennessee slopes and into the woods. only to indulge his passion for nature. Bill served as an excellent example for everyone. He assisted several outdoorsmen with disabilities. He taught many persons with disabilities that they could continue.
Through TWRA, he worked with several young people and supported the National Wild Turkey Federation. The Great Bill Bowen, REST IN PEACE! You, 150 pounds and all, were stopped.” Doyle and Margaret Bowen, his parents, died before him. He left Kelly and Caleb’s spouse, Kristi Bowen, and their kids behind.
Tony (Sabrina) Bowen, Carla (Louis) Sutton, and Pam (Jimmy) Stringfield are all siblings. His numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends were dear to him. The family will be open to visitors on February 12, 2023, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood.
At 2:00, a funeral service will be held, with Bro. David Treadway served as the celebrant. Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood will hold memorial services after the funeral service. The Bill Bowen family is receiving assistance from Evans Mortuary.
