Deborah Summers Obituary, Deborah Summers Has Sadly Passed Away

Deborah Summers Death, Obituary – Deborah Lorraine “Debbie” Summers, 61, died on February 7th, 2023 in Morgantown, West Virginia’s WVU Medicine – JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. Her home was in West Virginia.

She was the daughter of the late Howard C. Summers and the late Beulah Murray Summers and was born in Morgantown on May 14, 1961. Before she was born, both of her parents died. At this point, both of her parents had passed away.

Her ten grandchildren, including Chloe, Justin, Cody, Jenna, Tyler, Emma, Christina, Ryder, and Thomas, as well as her former daughter-in-law Michelle Murray and her three children Bernie Murray (Crystal), Anita Blosser (Ron), and David “JR” Murray (fiancĂ© Sara), as well as her brother Kenny Summers (Lisa), sister Mary Cress (Lee), numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the only living member of her direct family; her parents, brothers Donald and Dave Summers, and nephew David Summers, Jr. all died before her. Deb was a wonderful mother and housewife who gave her entire being to her family.

The focus of her universe was her family. She eagerly anticipated having time to spend with each and every one of her family.

She operated the Gabriel Brothers Warehouse and the Dollar General until her health prevented her from working. She can no longer work either job due to her health. She was a huge fan of wrestling, football, and the television program Days of Our Lives. Her favorite sports team was the Dallas Cowboys.

Friends are invited to join the family in honoring Debbie’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, located at 108 Holland Avenue, Westover / Morgantown, on Sunday, February 12th from 12:30 pm until the time of the funeral service, which will be conducted by Pastor Donna Dalton and start at 1:30 PM.
