The news that John Vetterlein, a former volunteer here and longstanding patron and supporter, as well as a local legend in the vegan and environmental activist community, passed away on Monday brought a great deal of sadness to our hearts. John Vetterlein was a supporter and patron of our organization for a long time. In addition to being the parent of Nina, who is one of our founding directors, he is also the host of the Moving Voices poetry and singing open mic.
