Dianna Madigan-Becking Obituary, Children’s Counsellor At Women’s Resources Has Died
Dianna Madigan-Becking Obituary, Death – Dianna Madigan-Becking, a worker at Women’s Resources and a children’s counselor, just passed away. We deliver the sad news of her passing with heavy hearts. She worked really hard for the company for 23 years under the name Dianne, which she gave to herself.
Every working day of her life, it appeared as though she was telling us how much she loved her job and how pleased she was to be a member of the WR “family.” Over the course of her career, Dianne personally influenced the lives of numerous kids via her work with parents and kids. She possessed a kindness, compassion, and sensitivity that no one could match.
Dianne always spoke from the heart, and everything she said was colored by her sincerity and true concern for the children. As a result, Dianne was able to acquire anything we required from a donor for the shelter right away. For a number of years, she volunteered with Dave and Lynda Chessman’s Annual Toy Ride for the shelter, and she was always overwhelmed by the enormous amount of toys and money that were given to children that needed more love in their lives.
Dianne was successful in establishing a relationship with the organization Dreams Take Flight, which gave some of the children residing at our shelter yearly trips to Disney World. Being a huge kid at heart, Dianne loved participating in these activities and watching the children’s joy.
She had a larger-than-life personality, was constantly upbeat and smiling, and delighted a lot of people. We are grateful to you, Dianne, for opening your home, heart, and enthusiasm to Women’s Refuge and the women and children it helps. Visitation will be held at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Monday, February 13th from 12:00 until the time of service at 3:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
