At approximately 4:44 p.m., the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a collision that involved three vehicles. Deputies responded to the call and arrived near the intersection of Glidden Road and River Lane to investigate the incident.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the call. The previous event was preceded by the report of an accident that involved three separate autos, which ultimately resulted in the succeeding event. It was established that the reason of an accident that included two automobiles was because one of the vehicles crossed the center line of the roadway, which then caused the other vehicle to collide with the first vehicle.

Greg Knapp, who was 57 years old, was the driver of the automobile that was hit and was transported to the hospital after the collision; unfortunately, he did not survive the injuries he received as a result of the collision and passed away as a result of the injuries he received as a result of the collision. Gage Watson, 19, from Rochelle is currently being treated in the hospital for the injuries he sustained after the vehicle he was driving veered into the center lane. The incident occurred earlier today.

Watson suffered injuries as a result of the fact that the automobile he was driving crossed over into the middle lane. Watson was operating the vehicle at the time of the crash that took place. A third vehicle was involved in the accident and incurred relatively minor damage as a result of the collision as a direct result of the driver’s attempt to escape the encounter by diverting into the path of the other vehicle. The accident did not result in any injuries being sustained by the individual who was driving the vehicle that was involved in the collision.
