Rachel Jennings Obituary, 98-Year-Old Rachel Jennings of Bardwell, Kentucky Has Died
Rachel Jennings Death, Obituary – On February 10, 2023, Rachel Bodkin Jennings, 98, of Bardwell, Kentucky, died away in the Clinton Intermediate Care Facility. Marshall and Mayme Bodkin, who has since died away, were Mrs. Jennings’ parents when she was born on November 14, 1924.
Prior to quitting both jobs, she worked at the Deena Lamp Factory and Snore Manufacturing. In addition to being a well-known leader in the Amalgamated Local Union, Rachel was a devoted Baptist. Her hobbies were crocheting, gardening, talking on the phone, and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
She also cherished phone conversations. Rachel was capable of being rather independent and having a strong will, despite the fact that she was primarily viewed as a lovely person who loves everyone. With her family and her granddog Pixie, she had some of the happiest moments of her life.
Shea Pruitt of Paducah, Lacey Comer of Murray, and her great-grandchildren Hunter Lee Comer and Macey Pruitt are all alive today because of Rachel’s daughter-in-law Gayle Jennings. Gayle Jennings, her daughter-in-law, is another person she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lavona Bodkin, and three brothers, Prentice Bodkin, Hazel Bodkin, and Dallas Bodkin. She still lives with her sister Lavona Bodkin, her son Jerry Lynn Jennings, and her husband Ralph Jennings.
