Zoe McKinney Obituary, Death – A young lady who was just 17 years old lost away on Friday as a result of injuries she sustained when she fell to her death down a rock face in Moab when she was hiking. According to the report from the Moab City Police Department, the young girl was out hiking on the Moab Rim Trail in the Kane Creek Canyon region at 4 o’clock when she slipped and fell around 30 feet down a “sheer rock cliff.” The event took occurred in the canyon that is known as Kane Creek Canyon and its surrounding areas.
However, despite their best efforts, her friends were unable to find a safe route to descend down to the place where the victim had landed while simultaneously contacting 911. This occurred despite the fact that they searched for the best possible solution for quite some time. A search and rescue crew employed climbing equipment to rappel down to the spot. Once there, they located a teenage girl who had tragically passed away as a result of the injuries she had sustained.
Before the rescue crews were ultimately successful in their objective, they spent a total of two hours searching the cave for her remains. The Grand County School District announced that Zoe McKinney was the student who had been hurt in the event, which was reported in the media.
