Albert Scott Obituary Stanardsville, 72-year-old killed in Greene County crash identified
Albert Scott Obituary, Death – An investigation has been opened by the Virginia State Police into a deadly accident that occurred in Greene County and resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The event took place earlier this week. It was stated that there was an accident that took place on Spotswood Trail in Stanardsville on February 9 at about 7:05 in the morning.
This path may be found immediately to the east of the crossroads where Maple Creek Road divides. According to the reports of the police, a 2022 Subaru Impreza was moving in the direction of eastbound traffic on Spotswood Trail when it veered off the right side of the road and struck a pedestrian who was walking next to the eastbound lanes of traffic.
The Subaru Impreza was traveling in the direction of eastbound traffic at the time of the accident. As a direct consequence of the incident, the pedestrian sustained injuries. The pedestrian, a man named Albert J. Scott from Stanardsville who was 72 years old, was pronounced dead at the site of the incident after being involved in the collision.
The driver of the Subaru, who has been identified as Dylan W. Collier and is from Stanardsville, sustained no injuries as a result of the collision. Collier emerged unscathed from the crash unscathed. The investigation into the events that transpired before this tragedy is still ongoing and possible charges are being considered at this time.
