Edwin Henderson Obituary, Death – Edwin Bethea Henderson, who had been battling an illness for a relatively short amount of time, ultimately succumbed to that disease on February 13, 2023, and passed away as a result of losing that struggle. Ed Henderson’s birthday is April 6th, and he was born in Savannah, Georgia, in 1944. Both of his parents, Dr. Clair A. Henderson and Mrs. Clair A. Henderson, had already passed away prior to the birth of their son.
Their son’s name was Ed. Ed graduated from Jenkins High School in 1962 and was elected to serve as the school’s Senior class president while he was a student there. He went on to obtain his graduation from Jenkins High School. Soon after he had his diploma, he enlisted in the Navy and served his country in that capacity for a cumulative total of two years. After that, he completed the requirements for his degree by enrolling once more at Georgia Southern University, which was his prior educational institution.
Ed had a fruitful and lengthy tenure with Amoco Oil Company as a Jobber Representative up until the year 2001, when he made the decision to call it quits and resign from the company. During this time, the company experienced significant growth. After he retired, he tried to lead a life of ease, but he found that he was unable to do so. As a result, he decided to return to school to become licensed as a real estate agent, and he began his new career selling real estate in Harris Neck, Georgia.
In addition to being a member of the Home Association at Delta Plantation, which is where he and his wife, Ellen, made their home, he also served as President of the Board of Directors for that community for a number of years. Ellen was also a member of the Home Association at Delta Plantation. Because he enjoyed fishing so much, he joined the Barbour River Club as well as the Coastal Conservation Association, where he took an active role in both organizations. Both groups recognized him as a member of their ranks.
