Roosevelt Clark Obituary Birmingham, AL, Center Point homicide victim identified

Roosevelt Clark Obituary, Death – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the victim in a murder that occurred on Sunday in Birmingham. Byron Beaumont During an attack that took place in the 2500 Block of 2nd Place in Center, Clark, 36, was shot. It was revealed that Clark had passed away when he got to the UAB Hospital.

The hospital and the area of the event were visited by criminal detectives from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office to gather more information. According to the inquiry, the victim and the suspect both attended the same family event where the crime was committed.

According to witnesses and available evidence, the suspect is the one who shot the victim after an incident occurred at the family gathering. Jacques Delawrence Hunter, Jr., a 23-year-old native of Center Point, Alabama, is the suspect in the incident. Hunter is currently being detained in the Shelby County Jail on a bond of $125,000 after being charged with one instance of First Degree Assault and two cases of Reckless Endangerment.

Before any charges were brought against Hunter, he was taken into custody. Sheriff of San Diego County John Samaniego stated, “I’m happy for our patrol officers for their quick reaction, apprehending the perpetrator, and rendering the situation secure so that medical assistance could be administered.
