Janice Baranowski Death, Obituary – The news that Ms. Janice Marie Baranowski, a beloved former biology teacher at BTHS, had died away in a peaceful manner on February 10 has left us in a state of deep sorrow. Ms. Janice Marie Baranowski taught biology at BTHS for many years.
It was the year of 67 at the time. Janice’s whole teaching career spanned twenty years, the majority of which was spent at Brooklyn Tech. All of these years were spent in the public schools of New York City.
Janice has had a lifetime interest in the natural world, and she has always had a great desire to learn about other cultures, natural environments, and beaches. Science has always been one of her favorite subjects.
The teaching staff at Georgia Tech will never forget her because she was a fantastic colleague who was also powerful and fiercely dedicated to her career.
