Elsie Brock Obituary, Seymour, Indiana, Broadway Pentecostal Church Member Has Died

Elsie Brock Obituary, Death – On Monday, February 13, 2023, Elsie Brock, who resided in Seymour, Indiana and was 68 years old at the time of her passing, passed away. She was born on April 6th, 1954 in Manchester, Kentucky, and her parents, the late Henry Smith, and Bessie (Root) Smith, were her parents. She was their daughter.

She wed Dill Brock on May 30, 1985, and he was expected to pass away on November 28, 2020. Their wedding took place in the year 1985. She was a member of the Broadway Pentecostal Church in Austin, Indiana, where she was engaged in the community and where she also reared her family.

Daughters Jessica Maschino and Jennifer Hill, both of Seymour, Indiana, and Corbin, Kentucky, respectively, are counted among the survivors, as is a sister named Ruby Mayne of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and a brother named Dennis Smith of London, Kentucky. Also surviving are the parents of the two daughters. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Lauren Webb, Brooke Smith, Amber Downs, and Brian Wagers, in addition to her great-grandchildren, who bring the total number of her descendants to six.

Her husband, Dill Brock, along with her brothers Burchell, Ted, and Lawrence Smith, as well as her sisters Pairlee Hensley and Betty Jean Smith, all passed away before she did. On Friday, February 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., Funeral Services will be placed at the Broadway Pentecostal Church in Austin, Indiana. The services will be presided over by Reverend Johnny Bowling and Reverend Richard Jones, respectively.

On Friday, between the hours of 12 and 2, the doors of the Broadway Pentecostal Church will be open for visitors. The burial will take place in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin, Indiana. the location of the interment.
