Hannah Grace Death – I write this letter to inform you that our daughter Hannah Grace Hare passed away on February 9, 2023. It is with great sadness that I must break the news to you. Hannah relocated to Salt Lake City at the beginning of November and immediately started making progress in a treatment program designed to address both her addiction disease and the struggles she was having with her mental health.
When Hannah called us in the evenings, we could clearly hear the happiness in her voice and it seemed as though she had returned to being her old self. She moved into a sober living house three weeks ago, and since then she has started looking for work and making new plans for her future. Unfortunately, addiction is a relentless foe that never gives up its pursuit of its victims.
She passed away on February 8, 2023 due to the effects of an overdose. The findings of the tests indicated that she had been administered a dose of fentanyl that was sufficient to cause her death. These are the people whose names and faces are hidden behind those mind-numbing statistics about the number of people who die from drug overdoses every year and the toxins that are being brought into the country.
In the midst of all of this gloom, there is a glimmer of light in the fact that Hannah was an organ donor. This past weekend, four families were able to rejoice in the beginning of new lives as a result of the donation of her heart, liver, and both kidneys. This post will be updated as quickly as is humanly possible to include a link to her obituary. Please find below information regarding her memorial service as well as the wishes of her family.
