His maternal great-grandparents, Joyce and Art Mord and Sharon and Bernard Deshner of Malta, as well as his maternal grandparents, Lew and Carol Tuma of Malta, his brothers Travis and Brandon Tuma of Malta, and his paternal grandfather, Miles L. Even his maternal grandfather emerged unscathed from the ordeal.  Both of his grandparents, Kenny Southwick and Mildred Tuma, had already passed away by the time he was born, therefore none of them ever got to meet him. On June 7th, 1985, in the country of Malta, which is situated in the Mediterranean, Kyle Tuma, the son of Lew Tuma and Carol (Southwick) Tuma, was born. Kyle is their only child.

At the end of the next school year, he will have graduated from Malta High School with the academic standing of a junior. This will take place at the conclusion of the upcoming academic year.  Track and field, wrestling, and football were Kyle’s three favorite sports and activities that he engaged in throughout his time at the university.  In addition, he enjoyed activities that took place outside, such as camping, fishing, and hunting. These were some of his favorite hobbies.
