Angela Ebert Obituary, A Member Of Ferdinand American Legion Auxiliary Has Died

Angela Ebert Obituary, Death – Angela Ebert, who was 88 years old, passed away in Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand. She resided in the town of Ferdinand. She was born in Perry County on November 4, 1934, the daughter of John Schaefer and Mary (Fetter) Schaefer. Perry County is where she was born.

On September 1, 1956, Angela wed Alvin “Grassie” Ebert at St. Meinrad Archabbey Church. Three days before her departure, on January 29, 2007, he passed away. Angela belonged to several organizations, including the Ferdinand Senior Citizens, the Ferdinand American Legion Auxiliary, and the Daughters of Isabella. She was also the Ferdinand American Legion Auxiliary’s president.

She liked hobbies including baking, cooking, playing cards, and bingo during her free time. She is survived by her two sisters-in-law, Bernice King, and Helen Schafer, as well as her son Tommy Ebert (and his wife Kellie), daughter Linda Leffert (and her husband Mark), all of whom reside in St. Meinrad, and her five grandchildren: Amber Scherzer, Laura Kline, Levi Leffert, Dakoda Ebert, and Alana Ebert.

Moreover, Angela is survived by her two in-law sisters. Irene Schaf Everyone will miss her terribly. Clara Oeding, Marie Ryan, Verleen Zoglman, Elnora Hoffman, and her four brothers and four sisters predeceased Angela in addition to her husband Alvin. The sole surviving member of her family was her spouse. Her brothers were Alfred Schaefer, Linus Schaefer, Arthur Schaefer, and Gilbert Schaefer.

The funeral services will take place at St. Meinrad Church on Tuesday, February 21, at 11:00 a.m. Central Time. The body will be buried in the church cemetery when the funeral rites are over. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday starting at 9 a.m. Central Time and continuing until the start of the rituals. 10 a.m. Central Time will mark the start of the services.
