Caroline Conner Obituary, A Native Of Christopher Has Sadly Passed Away – Death
Caroline Conner Obituary, Death – Caroline Susan Conner passed away in the community of Christopher on February 15, 2023. She was 91 years old at the time of her passing. She was born in Mulkeytown on December 9th, 1931 and her parents were Vallie Norris and Mary (Etherton) Norris. She was the only child of her parents.
She was married to Bobby Gene Conner, who was her predecessor in death. He went away before she did. She is survived by her children Marion (Neoma) Conner of Florence, AL, Nancy Jamerson of Christopher, Pamela (Paul) Hampton of Gulf Port, MS, Dixie Conner of Mulkeytown, Valery (David) Keefe of Aurora, CO, and Colleen (Larry) Freeman of Gainesville, GA; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings Nancy Jamerson of Christopher, and Dixie Conner of Mulkeytown, and She is also survived by her sister Dixie Conner of Mulkeytown and her brother Nancy Jamerson of Christopher. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, one of her sons named Doyle Conner, and one of her sisters named Jean Sims. In addition, one of her sons named Doyle Conner also died before her.
She was a faithful member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church and attended services there frequently. On Friday, February 24, 2023, at eleven in the morning, funeral services will be performed at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher to honor the deceased. The Reverend Bill Wiggs will serve as the officiant for the event. Visitation will begin on Friday at 10:00 AM and continue until the time of the service, which will begin at 11:00 AM.
The service will take place on Friday. The wake and funeral will be held at the Ward Cemetery in Mulkeytown, and the interment will take place there as well. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Greenwood United Methodist Church. The donations will be warmly accepted at the funeral home. Contributions may be mailed or delivered in person to the church.
