Dennis Kuhrt Obituary, Dennis Dewayne Kuhrt Has Passed Away Peacefully

Dennis Kuhrt Death, Obituary – Dennis Dewayne Kuhrt, 66, passed away at Meadowbrook Assisted Living in Chetek, Wisconsin, on February 8th, 2023. There, there, he resided. He was the only child born to Dewayne and Ruby (Cole) Kuhrt on October 14, 1956.

When his father went away, he and his mother relocated to Rice Lake, Wisconsin, where he spent a large portion of his academic life (with the exception of a brief stint spent in Barron). Dennis received his diploma from Rice Lake Vocational School, where he pursued a concentration in architectural drafting.

After earning his degree, he began working for architectural firms in Rochester and Minneapolis, Minnesota, to launch his professional career. After some time in Texas, he came back to Rice Lake and was employed by Kuhrt Lumber and the Turkey Shop.

Due to a decline in his health, he was compelled to spend time in hospitals in Barron, Rice Lake, Marshfield, and Integrecare during this period. In his spare time, Dennis liked to shoot pool, play chess, and expand his collection of harp songs.

He is left in the care of many family members, including his stepmother Eileen Edwards, stepfather Jerry Edwards, stepsister Teresa Wardell, aunts Barbara (Mahlon) Maas, Carol (Donald) Kuhrt, Shirley (Orville) Stokes, and Judy Waters.

Also present was David (Susan) Bender, a very dear classmate. Before him stood his parents, his uncle Donald Kuhrt, his aunts Deloris Hanson, Bernice Kopischke, Luella Turgeson, and Angela Johnston.

The funeral services will take place at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Visitation will last for the entire hour before the funeral service begins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Barron County Humane Society or the Hospice at Marshfield Medical Center. These charities would be very grateful for your help.
