Donna Turner Obituary, Longtime resident of Rolla, MO, has passed away

Donna TurnerĀ  Death – On Thursday, February 16, 2023, Donna Almeta Turner, who had lived in Rolla, Missouri for her entire life and had reached the age of 82 years, passed away. She was born on April 12, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Archie McFarland and Carlis (Hudgings) McFarland.

Her parents have now passed away. Both of her parents had passed away at this point. The 31st of March in the year 1960 marked the occasion of her wedding to Earl Turner. In December of 1999, he went away, which was a month prior to her passing. A brother by the name of Robert McFarland, an infant brother by the name of Billy Norman McFarland, and two sisters by the names of Doris Many and Phyllis Treece all passed away before she did.

Her parents and her husband also died before she did. Her husband and both of her parents passed away before she did. Donna enjoyed several hobbies, but two of her favorites were quilting and making dolls. One of her favorite things to do in that area was to go to Blue’s Too! in Newburg and participate in the karaoke. There is one son, Chris Turner, who lives in Rolla, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy Turner, who lives in Malvern, Iowa; one brother, Darrell McFarland and his wife, Janice; and four grandchildren, Amanda McIntyre, Daniel McIntyre, Drew Barbour, and Adrian Barbour and his wife, Abigail.

All of these members of Donna’s family are still alive. All of Donna’s surviving family will miss her very much in their daily lives. The funeral service for Donna A. Turner will take place at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at eleven in the morning. The date and time of the service are subject to change. Following the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, beginning at five o’clock in the evening and continuing until seven o’clock that night. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
