Marie Hands Obituary, Former Landlady Of The Grapes Hotel Has Died

Marie Hands Obituary, Death – After a brief struggle with the sickness that she had been suffering for some time, Marie lost her fight with it on January 30th, 2023, and died away in the Oakfield Nursing Home in Forton. She is currently 87 years old and can look back on a life well lived.

Once Marie has died away, her devoted sons Jeremy, Simon, Timothy, and Alistair will be the ones to carry on her legacy and continue the work they began together. In the past, Marie served as the landlady of the Grapes Inn, which was located in St. Michaels on Wyre. Previous to that, Marie had been working as a caretaker at the Abbeyfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her funeral will be held on February 23 at 11.30 a.m. at The Parish Church of St. Michaels on Wyre, and thereafter, she will be cremated at the Preston Crematory.
