Thomas Senecal Obituary, 94-Year-Old Man Of Lamplighter Acres Has Died
Thomas Senecal Death, Obituary – Thomas J. Senecal Sr., 94, of Lamplighter Acres, California, passed away at home on February 14, 2023. At his final moments, his devoted family stood by his side.
The son of deceased parents George Senecal and Sarah (Stewart) Senecal, he was born in Saratoga Springs on August 17, 1928. Tom enlisted in the US Army in 1950, the same year he graduated from Corinth High School. Before being set free in 1952, he heroically served for his country throughout the Korean War.
On August 14, 1954, he wed Virginia Pelletier; they first resided in Corinth before moving to Lamplighter Acres in South Glens Falls. Later, Virginia Pelletier would come to be his true love. She was happily married for 61 years until passing away on May 20, 2016.
He spent some time working in the grocery store industry, primarily in the meat and produce sections. After serving for a short period as the manager of the meat department at the A & P Store in Queensbury, he opened Senecal’s Market on Eggleston Street in Corinth, where he stayed for a long time.
Deb, Sue, and Lyn, the three sisters, would want to express their gratitude to Tommy for all he has done for them during this trying time. We could not have survived this catastrophe without your expertise in geriatric care and as an Army medic. We are aware that our father and we both enjoyed it.
Finally reunited in heaven, the deceased father and his one and only Love. You and your mother will continue to be in our thoughts till we run into one other again. Presently, The Densmore Funeral Home, Inc. in Corinth is in charge of making the arrangements. Their address is 7 Sherman Avenue.
