Clarence Laskey Obituary, Member Of The United State Navy Has Passed Away

Clarence Laskey Obituary, Death – Clarence Laskey, age 97, passed away on February 16, 2023 at his residence. He was the surviving spouse of the late Beatrice (Shaw) Laskey. He was the son of George and Susie (Richardson) Laskey and was born in Castle Hill on March 8, 1925. His full name at birth was George Richardson Laskey. Clarence served with honor in the United States Navy and was a devout member of the Greenville congregation of the New Life Church.

Clarence is survived by his son, Thomas Laskey; grandson, Anthony Perkins; granddaughter, Rebecca Rae Jackson; stepson, Robert Brewer; stepdaughter, Stephanie Shaw; step-granddaughter, Michelle Barrett; two step-great-grandchildren, Shawn and Rachel Donnelly; two step-great-great-grandchildren, Lucas and Vincent Donnelly; sister, Mary Scribner; and a number of nieces and nephews. Clarence was predeceased by his father, Clar In addition to his wife, Clarence was preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Munzer, his stepson Dennis Brewer, his brothers Wilmont, Milfred, Arvid, and Merrill Laskey, and his sister Melissa Pecoraro.

He also had a stepdaughter named Melissa Pecoraro. After the conclusion of the funeral ceremony that will be performed at the New Life Church in Greenville on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 1 PM, there will be a reception. In the spring, a private committal service will be place in the family lot at the Greenville Cemetery. The Lary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements at this time.
