Darryl Wilk Obituary, 54-Year-Old Man Of Saddle Lake Has Passed Away

Darryl Wilk Obituary, Death – Darryl Wilk, who lived in Saddle Lake, went away when he was 54 years old. He is survived by Buffy Whitstone, the mother of his children; sons Wade (Kuna), Ranen, and Merrick; granddaughter, Kenley; mother Linda Stone; brother Ricky Wilk; sisters Debbie Wilk, Stephanie (G. Julian) Ominayak, and Beverley Stone; uncle Ron Stone; aunty Lorraine Stone; adopted family Tracy and Neil Makokis, Allan Whitson, and Sharon Steinhauer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Corinne Wilk, Darryl’s sister, his aunts Theresa, Dorothy, and Brenda Stone, his uncles Harvey and Joe Stone, his maternal grandparents Irvin and Julia Stone, Irene Samson, and Jeannie Anderson, his special grandmother Violet Trottier, and his special friends Bob and Donna of Edmonton all passed away before Darryl did. A Wake will be held on Monday, February 20 at the Ayiwakes Culture Centre in Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:00 p.m.), and on Tuesday, February 21 at the Onion Lake Communiplex in Onion Lake.

Both services will begin at 6:00 p.m. On the 22nd of February, at eleven in the morning, a Funeral Ceremony will be place at the Onion Lake Communiplex, which is located in Onion Lake. The burial will take place in Wihcekaskosiw Sakahikan Ayawepowin, and Reverend Father Federick Akah and other Band Elders will be officiating the ceremony.
