Tom Tallon Obituary, Tom Tallon Has Peacefully Passed Away

Tom Tallon Obituary, Death – Today, we found out that our beloved buddy Tom had passed away, and we are at a loss for words to adequately express how much we are going to miss having him in our lives. Tom Tallon’s contribution to the betterment of our town is woven throughout the history of Aughrim Tidy Towns from the earliest chapters all the way up to this week, as he worked on the first woodcraft items that were made by the members of ATT Men’s Workshop.

This is something that has continued right up until this week. The Men’s Workshop is the most recent project to be introduced in the ATT community, and it is largely thanks to Tom’s foresight and dogged determination that we now have access to this beneficial resource. Tom was a stalwart of ATT when Aughrim won the National Title in the Tidy Towns Competition in 2007. Last Saturday, we had the opportunity to revive the energy and vigor that the people of this town are capable of during our 1st spring clean outing at St. Martin’s Drive and the railway bridge.

Tom was a stalwart of ATT when Aughrim won the National Title in the Tidy Towns Competition in 2007. Tom was in the middle of everything, putting in a lot of effort while simultaneously motivating everyone else to do their best. When questioned further about the next step to take, the standard response was “I don’t know, ask Tom. I want to thank you, Tom, for everything, including your unwavering support and encouragement, your consistent reliability in your work, and your firm faith in the potential of this community.
