Sarah Brierley Death, Obituary – The identify of a lady whose body was discovered inside a property in Sheffield has been made public by the authorities there. In the morning of Monday, February 20, just after 8 o’clock, officers from the South Yorkshire Police (SYP) responded to a report at Skelton Close, where they found the body of a female resident who had passed away. The investigation is ongoing.
Prior to her passing, she was found to have extensive head injuries; the manner of her passing is being examined as a probable murder. Following the completion of today’s forensic post mortem examination, the identity of the person who passed away has been confirmed as Sarah Brierley.
A man in his forties who is suspected of having been involved in a homicide was hauled into jail just the other day (Tues). A woman who was also in her 40s was taken into jail yesterday afternoon on suspicion of having committed the act of homicide.
As of the time that this piece is being written, the suspects are residents of the Woodhouse area and are still being detained by the authorities. Detective Chief Inspector Andy Knowles is in charge of the investigation, and he has stated that “We continue to carry out investigations to determine what happened to Sarah, and the events that lead up to the circumstances surrounding her death.”
