Anthony Adamo Obituary, Anthony Adamo Has Passed Away
Anthony Adamo Obituary, Death – Anthony Adamo of Oakboro, North Carolina passed away at home with some of his loved ones at his side. Having served in the US Army and the MA National Guard, he was a veteran of both. As a Cpl 4, he was dismissed with honor. His stunning wife of 46 years, Maureen (Madden) Adamo, had preceded him in death. Angie (Adamo) Lamberti and Walter (Buddy) Moulton, of North Carolina and New Hampshire, respectively, were the cherished offspring he cherished.
Maureen (Adamo) Cipullo of Newport, Maine, and her sister Paul Adamo and his wife Ana (Sousa) Adamo of Stoughton, Massachusetts. He loved his many nieces and nephews and was a fantastic grandfather and great-grandfather. Frank Adamo Sr. and his wife Dorothy Adamo, of Rockland, Massachusetts, and Frank and Annette Adamo, of Washington, were his devoted siblings. His older brothers and sisters Frederick and Mary and his Jeanie Adamo all predeceased him.
Marcia (Ferris) Adamo, his second wife. Over the course of his life, Tony worked in a wide variety of Amazing Jobs. For more than 30 years, he served as a call and permanent firefighter for the Holbrook Fire Department before he retired. His skills in welding and metalwork fabrication were extraordinary. Throughout the year, he worked diligently at his Craft of manufacturing wooden toys, and at Christmas, he gave away many of them to needy children. His passion for motorcycles led him to join the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, of which he became a Lifetime Member in the MA-3 and NC-24 chapters.
