Noel Wilson Obituary, Death – Noel Wilson, of Corclough West, Belmullet, and formerly of Barrack Street, Belmullet, and Craigadoes, St. Johnston, Lifford, County Donegal, passed away surrounded by his beloved family on February 21st, 2023 in the Belmullet Community Hospital. His parents Dan and Julia, as well as his sisters Betty, Mary, and Sheila, as well as his wife Eileen (née Shevlin), all passed away before him.

He will be greatly missed and remembered with affection by his loving family, which includes his daughters Mary Wilson (Belmullet), Anna Fitzgerald (Kildare), and Julie Wilson (U.K.), sons Daniel Wilson (Corclough West, Belmullet), Neil (Shraigh West, Bunnahowen, Belmullet), and Brian (Glengad, Pullathomas), sisters Anna Quinn (Lifford), Sadie McLean (Convoy), and Kay McGlinch Remains will lie in repose at McDonnell’s Funeral Home in Belmullet on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m., and the funeral will begin at 8:30 p.m.

When it arrives at the Church of the Holy Family in Carne. On Friday at noon there will be a funeral mass, and thereafter the burial will take place in the Tarmoncarra Cemetery. Flowers from family only, please; if you’d like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, you can send it in care of McDonnell Funeral Directors in Belmullet for the “Palliative Care Unit at the Belmullet Community Hospital.”
