Paul Cloutier Obituary, 52-Year-Old Firefighter Has Passed Away

Paul Cloutier Death, Obituary – Firefighter Paul Cloutier was killed in a horrifying accident yesterday as he prepared to respond to an emergency call. In releasing this statement, Chief Brian Hickey does so with a heavy heart and extends his deepest sympathy to Paul’s family and friends.

Paul Cloutier, a 52-year-old fireman, was hired by the Webster Fire and Rescue Department in March 2021 and put in charge of Group 1. Also, he volunteered his time to work as a firefighter with the Muddy Brook Fire Department while he was residing in Woodstock, Connecticut. He was a member of the department at the time.

The individual commenting on behalf of the organization added, “I would want to extend our most sincere sympathies to Paul’s family and loved ones on behalf of Webster Fire/Rescue and the Town of Webster. They have suffered a horrible loss as a direct result of this, along with his brother and sister who were also firefighters and our town.

Paul was a very valuable team member who was always prepared to help when needed because he was not only a firefighter but also a friend. We kindly ask that you remember Paul’s family in your prayers and would appreciate it if you would do so.
