Tysiea Gurly Death, Obituary – An investigation has been opened by the Durham Police Department into a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Tuesday evening and ended in the death of a person. According to the police, just before 11:30 p.m.
On Tuesday night, officers with the Traffic and Crash Team Unit responded to a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian in the 800 block of North Alston Avenue. The incident took place in the area of North Alston Avenue. At the site, the medical examiner pronounced the pedestrian to be deceased.
The death of Tysiea Gurly was ruled an accident after an investigation, and she was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision where she was involved. The perpetrator allegedly did not stop and ran away from the scene of the crime, as reported by the police.
