Mark Fuelling Obituary, Member Of Woodburn Missionary Church Has Passed Away
Mark Fuelling Obituary, Death – MarkĀ Fuelling, 59, of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away at home on Monday evening, February 20, 2023, due to an unanticipated medical occurrence. Franklin Fuelling and Carrol L. (Heine) Fuelling welcomed their son into the world on April 20, 1963, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On June 20, 1987, at Woodburn Missionary Church, Mark and Shelly Schurg were married.
Mark often attended the Woodburn Missionary Church in his hometown of Woodburn, Indiana. He had been a 4-H and FFA member and had been on the board of the Allen County Fair Grounds for over 30 years. Mark has previously participated in the Allen County Coon Hunter’s Club and many local bee keeping groups.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, he attended Purdue University after graduating from Woodland High School in 1981. Mark oversaw fleet safety and training for Lettermen’s Energy, Inc. He worked for 19 years as a manager at Ferrellgas and as an outside Salesperson for Gas Equipment Co. before joining Letterman’s Energy. He began his 19-year tenure at Indiana Stamp while still in high school.
Mark was a sports fan who cheered both the Chicago Cubs and the Purdue Boilermakers. Mark was almost finished with his quest to see every stadium in the Major League Baseball. Camping, horseback riding, shooting sports, fishing, and playing cards and board games were just a few of his other favorite outdoor activities. His time with his family, especially his grandson Paxton, was what he treasured the most.
His family includes his wife of 35 years, Shelly Fuelling of Woodburn, Indiana, as well as their children: Serena (Cody) Hegerfeld of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Justin (Ashley Luginbill) of Woodburn, Indiana, and Michael (Tabitha) Fuelling of Arlington, Virginia, as well as their grandchildren Paxton Hegerfeld and Addison Fuelling.
